PREVENTION

  • Routine pediatric examinations for babies (U2 – U6),
  • small child (U7 – U9),

  • Pediatric hearing and speech tests, visual acuitiy
  • Vaccinations according to German and International vaccination schedules

TREATMENT

  • Acute illnesses like fever, gastro-duodenal disorders, inflammation of the middle ear, hand-foot and mouth-disease, exanthema subitum, scarlet fever
  • Chronic illnesses like diabetes, rheumatism, heart defects, kidney diseases, chronic gastro-duodenal disorders
  • Allergies like hay fever, neurodermatitis, food allergies
  • Hyposensitization against pollen and dust mite
  • Bronchial asthma training by qualified staff
  • Minor injury and burn care
  • Primary psychosomatic care
  • Coordination and referral for expanded treatment not available at this office

DIAGNOSTICS

  • Laboratory Examinations – blood, urine, stool
  • Sonography of the infant hips, kidneys, abdominal organs,
    thyroid, joints
  • Allergy tests (blood and skin tests)
  • Electrocardiogram
  • Oxygen saturation studies
  • Voiding dysfunction diagnostics
  • Medical pre – OP screening, blood tests and exam

CERTIFICATES (FEE DUE) AND INDIVIDUAL HEALTH SERVICES

If you are not a private health insurance member, we will ask that you pay for individual health services and medical certificates in cash at the reception desk before treatment. The costs will be in accordance with the GOÄ which establishes doctor‘s rates. More information is available at the reception desk.

  • Day care and kindergarten health and vaccination certification
  • Sport fitness certificates
  • Evidence for insurance and other agencies
  • Travel vaccinations
  • Exams outside the German statutory requirements
  • Kidney screening-sonography: kidney scans in the neonatal period without evidence of renal disease. The ultrasound examination is useful, as abnormalities of the urinary tract are among the most common congenital malformations and can be reliably diagnosed. If the abnormalities are not diagnosed, the children for example can develop dangerous urinary tract infection which may result in kidney damage
    The costs of 39,- € is based on the GOÄ.
